| Nokia Icon, technology to wear |
Some people are put off by hands free kits for cell phones. Sure, they can be lifesaving devices while driving, but let's face it, not everyone wants a device sticking out of their ears. Oftentimes, the wires get all tangled up and untangling them is a pain.
Designed by Lopez Revol, the wristband and ring hands-free set has a duo chromatic OLED display, which shows SMS and incoming calls. The accessory exclusively connects with Nokia 7280 via Bluetooth. The wristband also works as a watch and is capable of displaying some dynamic graphics. When not in use it can perform trippy visualizations. The rest of the band is rubber and can be changed, as there are different colours and sizes. The rings are made for the thumb; they're made of rubber, are flexible and are opened, so they can fit to many sizes of thumbs. They have a line that glow in different colours - red or white - when you receive a message or a call. They’re made of rubber too and are designed so that they can fit different thumb sizes.
The Nokia Icon was designed as part of the Nokia Design Challege that happened last year in Argentina. |
