Captivating, brilliant and fairy-tale-like, like an American '50s or '60s comedy: Verde Veronica lingerie is inspired by the silver screen at the height of its splendor. The Hollywood Collection for Spring Summer 2011 has been designed to reinterpret the sophisticated elegance of those divas that have become icons of the international star system.
Marilyn - Adorned with sensual leavers lace in blue and pink, the models have been conceived to adapt to even the most curvaceous figures, like that of the sexy cinema icon, for women who insist on style. The baby dolls with padded cups and long shirts are distinguished by their lace inserts on the hips and bust.
Audrey – The elegant and refined Audrey range embodies the naïve and timeless charm of a style icon. The Murrina embroidery with Lurex yarn on stretch satin silk and the tattoo flounce on the underwear and silk crepon baby dolls create graceful high-class touches. There are two versions: dove grey with bronze embroidery or blue with silver embroidery.
Doris – With a fresh basic concept, the underwear in this range has been created in fine stretch silk voile: the models used have been designed for large busts, which are enhanced with a decorative pattern that outlines the necklines of the bras and the edges of the briefs.
Grace – Grace underwear takes on the ethereal and sophisticated beauty of the princess. Light stretch tulle, embroidered with diamonds and little polka dots in thick pink and blue cotton yarn, shapes any form gracefully and with care. The lingerie offers two options: the first in cotton muslin with tops and French knickers, shirts with shoulder straps and kimonos with three-quarter length sleeves embroidered with diamonds and little polka dots bestowing them with a classic and sophisticated appeal. The second option is also very simple and elegant on a cotton modal base.
Marlene – The range created for Valentine's Day could only be inspired by her, the quintessential femme fatale of the silver screen. Attractive dotted Swiss lace and floral patterned appliqués with laser-cut satin borders on a lace net base stand out on the bras, Brazilian briefs and g-string with detachable micro skirt and on the sensual bodies and baby dolls. The shades chosen for this range are extremely glamorous: turquoise, fuchsia and black.
Greta – Soft and comfortable cotton modal lingerie in solid pink or blue, the charm of which is revealed through the floral motif embroidery in cotton yarn on tops, nightdresses and pajama jackets. The garments in this range are extremely versatile for mixing and matching with the models from the other ranges such as the Marilyn line.
Rita – Irrepressible and alluring, just like Rita Hayworth's best-loved character, Gilda, this range presents baby dolls and long shirts in silk georgette with leopard-skin prints and bursts of contrasting colour in the floral patterns. |
