Under the claim "There is always the sun", Stradivarius launches its new campaign for Spring Summer 2011. It is full of light and color conveying a sensual, romantic and, above all, feminine image. The lighting plays a major role to convey a sense of lightness, romance, languor... A balance between sensuality and romance, a romantic and yet, intense atmosphere.
The lenses of the tandem Andoni & Arantxa have been commissioned to capture evocative images. She was formerly a model, and thus, Stradivarius face during the spring campaign in 2008. The result is an elegant mix of four key trends in fashion: Edenic, Boho, Innocent and Gipsie Rocker.
Edenic: travel to the Garden of Eden and immerse yourself in a languid, sweet and romantic atmosphere of feminine inspiration, floral prints and retro silhouettes.
Boho: a mix of ethnic and hippie, a real journey along the mid-70's with vintage silhouettes dominating the atmosphere.
Innocent: we represent a delicate and feminine woman, dressed in white and natural colors giving off a subtle innocence. A truly inspirational and romantic heritage influenced by the lingerie handmade style.
Gipsie Rocker: a rocker and, rather, nomadic spirit, this trend becomes the strongest and with the most carefree personality of the new season. Native American-inspired, grunge wild style but yet sophisticated. Suede garments and fringes on clothes and accessories are the real key items.
This coming season is also a spring full of color. The dominating colors are red and navy, but also honeysuckle, green grass, blue and yellow colors. The silhouettes are basically retro and vintage. Silhouettes ranging from the 50's-60's to 70's: oversized shirts, baby necks, zigzag knitting, skirts and long dresses... The key garments vary depending on the trend, but no one can resist to a crochet long dress, to any suede garment or fringes, and printed blouses. As for fabrics, Stradivarius has worked this season based on crochet or knit, suede garments, and printed georgette blouses. Also, vintage leather and fake leather predominate in jackets and accessories. |
