Mantide, Ultra High Performance Car by Stile Bertone Stile Bertone has a long history of creating one-off prototypes based on the mechanicals of Chevrolet's sporting automobiles spanning over 50 years. Today, Stile Bertone is proud to utilize the mechanicals of the formidable 2009 Corvette ZR1. Employing know-how from the Le Mans winning Corvette C5R, the ZR1 is the greatest all-round performance car in the world, the undisputed King of the Ring, posting the fastest ever lap time for a true production car at 7:26:4 seconds on the famed Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany, long considered the benchmark for a car's true performance...
Alfa Romeo Bat 11 by Bertone This project is the logical outcome of the evolution of the B.A.T. 5, B.A.T. 7 and B.A.T. 9, developed by Nuccio Bertone together with Alfa Romeo between 1953 and 1955. The Bertone Bat 11 has been designed with the Maserati GT chassis in mind, in order not to be a mere emotional copy of the past. 4,9 meters long, 1,9 meters wide, and 1,2 meters high, the design brings to the forefront some of the distinguishing elements of the BAT concept, such as the tapered fins and the faired wheels, all in a context where soft proportions are combined with strict and rough lines: a successful encounter of the typical Bertone themes that have inspired many. The fins seem to have been designed as a shawl that wraps around the car beginning from the front fender...
Bertone Barchetta Concept Car Based on the floor-pan and mechanicals of the Fiat Panda 100 HP, the Bertone Barchetta Concept is an open-topped strictly two-seater sports car that calls to mind the Italian racing cars of the 1950s. In this case, the design explicitly cites the Fiat 500 with Barchetta bodywork created by the young Nuccio Bertone in 1947 as a one-off for his personal use in races. Bertone's choice of the Fiat brand to celebrate its 95th anniversary was both natural and emotional...
